Socket Weld Unequal Tees

ASME B16.11 | Forged Socket Weld Reducing Tees | Class 3000–9000 | NPS 1/8–4

Elite provides high-quality Forged Socket Weld Unequal Tees, also known as Reducing Tees, for industrial piping, process systems, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, power generation and general engineering applications. These fittings are designed to connect a smaller branch pipe to a larger main run while maintaining a compact and reliable socket-weld connection.

ASME B16.11 Socket Weld Unequal Tees are manufactured from forged materials and are available in carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, duplex, super duplex, nickel alloys, copper-nickel and other specialty materials. Elite can supply standard configurations as well as specially engineered reducing tees to customer drawings, piping specifications and project requirements.

For reducing tees, ASME B16.11 specifies how the openings are designated: the largest run opening is stated first, followed by the opposite run opening, with the branch size stated last.
