Short Stub End

ASME B16.9 | Short Pattern Stub Ends | Butt-Welding Pipe Fittings | NPS 1/2″–36″ | Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Alloy & Nickel Alloys

Elite Short Stub Ends are butt-welding components used with lap joint flanges to create a detachable and rotationally adjustable flanged connection. Their shorter hub configuration provides a compact and economical alternative to long-pattern stub ends, while allowing the backing flange to rotate independently for easier bolt-hole alignment.

The stub end is welded to the pipe while the loose lap joint flange provides the bolting connection. The stub-end material can be selected independently from the backing flange material when permitted by the design and applicable project requirements.
